How to choose a plumber in Malta
Malta has no plumber's licence, so a quote in writing and a look at their past work are your protection. Electricians are licensed by REWS, plumbers are not, and the Building and Construction Authority's contractor licence covers construction, demolition and excavation rather than plumbing. For a job that touches both trades, such as a water heater or a pump, a plumber who also holds a REWS electrical authorisation, or works with someone who does, saves a second callout.
